The Alachua Humane Society here in Gainesville, Florida has a thrift store. The majority of the proceeds go toward the AHS. This is a great idea because it benefits the animals and at that same time, the public purchases items at low cost, thus helping fee up landfills, especially if the items are in good condition and worth selling. BDAS in Guanica should do the same.
